22SecondsTOGETHER is an alarm that rings on the hour (for the hours you chose) and then 22 seconds later. Join us these first 22 seconds of any hour to focus on Peace, Love and Compassion (PLC). The 22SecondsTOGETHER app provides hourly chimes. You choose a schedule for participation. Then respond yes each hour you join. Participation results are posted on the app. Cell phones allow us to synchronize our actions; to help us create a virtual flash mob. Most of these actions, from kind deeds to prayers or positive wishes happen in isolation or in small groups. These positive acts are overshadowed by the volume of negativity in the news. People can begin to feel overwhelmed, hopeless and powerless. But what if people unite, even for a short time, to send a message of Peace, Love and Compassion(PLC)? What if there were not just hundreds or thousands but millions of people focusing on this message simultaneously? The power of the message increases. Whether you participate individually or in a group you know that at that exact moment others are focused on the same message of Peace, Love and Compassion for all. You are a member of a larger community united for a common good. There are many attempts to separate and divide us by beliefs, race, religion, cultural ties, political affiliations, and more. 22SecondsTOGETHER bridges these differences and helps us unite for a common cause. We are all in this life TOGETHER. SAMPLE IDEAS for your 22 Seconds: - Focus on peace in the world - Say a prayer or meditate - Focus on inner peace - Focus on gratitude - Hold hands or hug someone - Focus on your heart and send love to the world - Coordinate with friends and family to send love to each other - Coordinate with friends and family to pray for a peaceful or loving cause - Pray for someone who is sick or in need of help - Visualize sending the world a hug. - Use as an hourly reminder to relax and stay in the moment - Use as a time for office, social or family groups to focus on peace and harmony Programing Directions Scheduling: Weekly First set a BASIC alarm on/off pattern for your week. You can program the alarm to be always ON or always OFF for each hour of all days of the week. After this you can make daily changes. Individual Day Thumb through the days of the week to adjust your schedule for a single day. Multiple Days Pick multiple days of the week and adjust the schedule as a group. Sounds: Pre Hour Alert Set the Pre Hour Alert to remind you 3 to 60 seconds prior to the hour. Choose the sound you wish to use. Basic sound pattern. - Pre Hour Alert sounds - longer with multiple notes. - Hour Alert sounds - one note to indicate start - 22 second after the hour sounds - two notes ( Thank You ) Temporarily Disable Select the number of hours you wish to disable the alerts.
